Ashu Foot Rehab Centre Wedges

M-3D BLACK

M-3D Black is a pre-moulded polyurethane wedge that controls overpronation by more aggressively guiding the feet towards the neutral position while keeping the insole in the correct place inside the shoe. The material is flexible and light, but provides enough support foot misalignment. When needed, sanding the bottom of the wedge can lower the prole.

A heat activated adhesive covers the inner surface of the M-3D Black wedge to enable quick fabrication. To add M-3D Black to a FootBalance Medical insole, coat the underside of the moulded insole with an adhesive such as Novatek. Then heat the wedge to activate its built in adhesive. Heating the wedge softens it, making it easy to attach to the insole. If necessary, the built up insole can be sanded after adding the wedge.

M-HS2 BLUE | M-HS3 BLUE

M-HS2 Blue and M-HS3 Blue are to use horseshoe postings that can be utilised in a variety of ways. The postings can be added to FootBalance insoles as needed to of the insole and are most commonly used to further stabilise one or both of the patient’s feet. It is easy to add M-HS2 Blue and M-HS3 Blue to a moulded ins ole. First heat the glossy side of the horseshoe posting to activate the attached adhesive until it becomes sticky. Then press the horseshoe onto the moulded ins ole. Starting from the centre back move simultaneously along both sides toward the toes. Once at tached, we recommended further heating the posting so that the edges shape up according to the edges of the insole. Do not to overheat the material to avoid damaging the surface fabric or changing the ins ole shape. Untitled-8

M-OR2 BLACK | M-OR3 BLACK

M-OR2 and M-0R3 are cut-to shape reinforcement postings that can be trimmed and added to FootBalance insoles as needed to meet your patient’s clinical needs. For example, they can be cut into heel reinforcements. The postings are made of the same thermoplastic material used in the insoles.

Adding the M-OR2 and M-OR3 postings to a m oulded insole is easy: cut the posting to the d esired shape. Heat the glossy side of the material to activate the adhesive compound so that the surface becomes sticky. Then press the posting onto the insole. Once attached, we recommended further heating the posting so that the edges conform to the edges of the insole.

Do not overheat the material to avoid damaging the surface fabric or changing the ins ole shape.
